I read through the sticky thread, and multiple other threads, so my apologies for having to ask. I am purchasing a Vortex Viper PST 4-16x50 to go on a Rem 700 (SPS Varmint) with a H-S Precision Pro series 2000 stock. The barrel is a #5. I want Badger or Seekins rings/bases. I plan on a 20 MOA base and would like to know what rings to get. Thanks in advance for your help.

I would say rings that are at least .800 high or .300 from the base top to the bottom of the scope. For a Vortex 55.8mm objective diameter. Hope this makes some sense. The lowest I would try with badger is the medium rings. The standard might be to low.
