I want to put a Razor HD on a Stiller Tac 30 with varmint profile barrel and Stiller 20moa base. The barreled action will be here some time this week and the Razor by the end of the week. I don't have any 35mm rings and wanted to order them so they'll be here when my other shit arrives. So what height do I need? Will .94" be enough?

Re: Ring height help please...

Thanks man but I read that. Seekins says "34mm w/50mm lows will work all the time". I don't have anyway to measure anything yet plus I'm going with a 35mm tube. Also not all low rings are the same height. I was kinda looking for a number like .96" or whatever. I want to order the rings today. Thanks for the help.

Re: Ring height help please...

The lowest 0.92" Seekins rings on a 34mm tube work on all my bolt action rifles for up to 56mm objectives.

That said, the issue tends to be less about whether it will clear the barrel, and more about whether you can mount the scope back far enough due to objective bell flare. E.g., you cannot mount a Hensoldt 4-16 or PR 3-15 as far back as a USO 3.2-17 or S&B 4-16 because the compact design requires a highly flared bell.

I've moved toward 1.00" rings on all 34mm scopes because of this issue. Because the Razor HD is a longer scope, you will be fine.
