Rifle Scopes ring height ???

I have a Rem 700 SPS Tactical 223 1/9 twist heavy 20 inch bbl ordered,,I have a 20 MOA taper EGW Pic Rail and a 4.5-14 L/R Leupold scope with 30mm tube and 40 mm lens,

want to use the Burris Extreme mounts,,what are the lowest mounts I can get to clear the fat bbl with the scope and pic rail I have???

scope has M1 knobs and the B&C reticle and side focus,,gonna try the 75 AMax first and if it wont stabilize in the 9 I will try the 75 BTHP,,if that dont work I will go to the 69 Sierra,,

just lookin for a cheap way to practice at 5-600 yards..

I have the same rifle but chambered in .308 win. At one point I had a 0-MOA EGW rail with Burris XTR low rings and a Burris Black Diamond 6-24x50. The clearance was very minimal, about the thickness of a credit card but the objective never hit. I then upgraded to Mark 4 15 MOA base, Mark 4 Medium (.84 in), and a LR/T 3.5-10x40 M3 and it had ample clearance even with the supplied caps. That setup is now gone but Im sure I could dig up a picture if you'd like. Hope this helps...

With that bell size any rings that has a center hight of 0.80" to 0.885" will work.
