RIP NYPD Sgt William “Billy” Brautigam

Yesterday, a high school buddy and great dude who lived a life of service passed away. Billy had been on the force for a long time and worked the scene at the World Trade Center after those assholes blew it up. Like many, he was diagnosed with that form of cancer so many got from that scene. His watch ended yesterday. If any of you are the drinking type, please raise a glass up for him!

Sorry for your loss. I wonder if he was in my class March of 2000. Scary I worry about getting cancer. Too many friends have died and gotten sick from 9/11.
