Rifle Scopes Riton?

Looked through a guys Riton 1-8x at a match recently. Hard to get a feel when you're either looking at your feet or the sky to avoid flagging people but I was fairly impressed with the little time I had with it.
It is hard to say. I had a nice chat with them at SHOT last year, but they did not get back to me when I followed up. Now that I looked at the people involved, I see that their National Sales Director is the guy who used to be with Rudolph. That would probably explain it, since we did not exactly see eye to eye when I gave him feedback on the Rudolph scopes he asked me to look at.
I'll chat with them again at SHOT next year. The products I saw last year looked OK, but I could not quite figure out what they are counting on if they are are not doing anything substantially different from the competition.
For what it is worth, their products made more sense than the stuff from Rudolph.

Thanks. I am looking to put a 1-8 on a DMR in 224. Just something to try a little different and out of the box.
I've thought they looked like overpriced versions of Bushnell's AR Optics line. For example, the 2-7x32 models appear to have similar construction and the same BDC reticle:
