Their website seems to have been hacked or something and I am unsure if it is just technical issues or they closed shop. I may be interested in making an order from them for Windrunner parts but have no way to contact, does anyone know how I can get ahold of the owner and if they are still in business?

I think you are actually looking for EDM, not RND. EDM was the original producer of Windrunner rifles. EDM is no longer in business but the owner's son is continuing with parts and service. See https://www.vigilancerifles.co/edm-arms-services

Hi,

More than likely he is talking about RND Rifles since their website now shows offline https://www.rndrifles.com/firearms/ and the EDM Arms website is still active.

OP: I am not sure if Lloyd is still in business or not. He moved from Longmont CO to somewhere in Georgia IIRC a few years back.

He was pretty much a one man shop and getting up there in age so he might have closed up shop. That would be too bad because he had some of the best bipod systems in the ELR industry. Not to mention the first semi auto LM and CT system.

Sincerely,
Theis

Yes I am looking for RND. Wanted to upgrade to the CheyTac style forend and bipod that is made by RND. Lloyds website is down and there is no other contact info for him online. I was given his number, but the number may be old because it had a Colorado area code and there was no answer. I don't actually have a Windrunner yet, just wanted to get one, with no aftermarket support anymore and EDM closing down I may just forget about it. I know his son has a business too but reading old threads people were quoted more for replacement barrels than the gun is worth.

I even contacted CheyTac to see if I could buy the handguard and bipod off the M200, they told me they get that question alot and the parts aren't compatible. I guess I'll just have to wait and see, chances are if his website remains offline he intends to be done.

Hi,

@jmar

For replacement barrels I would probably just go straight to K&P since they were the original barrel manufacturer for the EDM/Cheytac rifles to begin with.
I have a room full of spare/upgrade parts that were made for Cheytac back in the day (When the CT and EDM rifles were "compatible") by Briley, Becker Machine, Panther Machine and Lawton if you do get a windrunner some day.

Sincerely,
Theis
