I just ordered this trigger. Basically for the price and reviews. I will be shooting from led sleds and bipods 100%. I do hear conflicting reports of trigger pull weight. I would like a 3 to 4 pound trigger but no more. Should I order a set of JP springs now or wait to see what I get out of this RR trigger?

Thanks,
AL

Just wait and see how you like it in the rifle. I have used these in a couple rifles. I have a geissele trigger in my ar-10 but I honestly can't tell that much between the two and for the price its hard to beat rr's nm triggers. it does take about 100 rounds or so before it is good (smooth) and broke in. if you want something a little lighter rr also has a varmint 2 stage trigger which is set at about 2.5 lbs, but thats lighter than I like in a rifle.

I had two break also. one around 2k and other within a few mags in cold weather.
RRA didnt replace either of them.. for about the same money you can get a larue trigger. no comparison the RRA is a MIM piece of shit and Larue is EDM cut solid S7 steel.

Well if you got the money to burn threw 3-5k rounds then you can probably afford to buy a geissele up front and not worry about it. I own both and have several thousand rounds on both (rock river national match, geissele ssa) with no issues but I might just be lucky. If one of the nm breaks I will probably just buy another when I find them on sell again, but for $80 they are hard to beat... just my $.02
