I've been eyeballing the shuto belt though its on backorder. He offers a skinner belt for everyday pants i see. Has anyone used this belt or ones like it for edc? If so what brand? Thanks.

Bro the ronin belts are exceptional. I just got a new one for Christmas and it’s so dope. You will love the shuto belt I know I do. Also buy the thinner inside belt when you order.

I ran the usual gammit of belts, thought the ultimate was the hsgi battle belt for awhile (for esu). I tried a multicam Task Force belt and loved it more, then ran with the black Shuto for patrol (K9),,,love it also. I agree with Harv24,,sent a friend to AWS and he found a rig he liked,,,,,cheaper.

I have their Task Force belt and really like it.

I’ve been to AWS’ showroom and, while their belts are similar to the Ronin belts, they aren’t as nice. Like everything else they do, it’s just a knockoff of an existing product without the same quality. For the quality you are getting, the Ronin belts are worth the small price that they are. At less than $200, you’re getting a belt that you can use anywhere in the world and it isn’t going to be the part of your kit that shits the bed.

Got mine this week after the restock. Dumb question here but I assume you run the bottom part through your pants than velcro the top on after? Cause there's now way I can run the whole thing through my belt loops.

Arnold of AWS is Whistlefoot/Tu's stepdad. AWS makes the Ronin belt, which is actually a knockoff of another guy's belt.

Eagle OGB for life.

No I get that and knew it (that they were someone in connect with one another) before walking into AWS. That said, the AWS belt isn’t as nice as the Ronin belt. Everything in AWS is just a copy of [insert whatever larger name brand].

Yep. AWS used to be "Arnold's Welding Service" and he made all your assault ladders and what not.

He started sewing to make carriers for breaching tools and body armor, and then expanded into all the other stuff when you couldn't get Eagle or Paraclete. As long as you could get one they'd reverse engineer it.

All the VTAC slings were made there for a looooong time, might still be for all I know.
