Sniper’s Hide Cup Roommates and Car Pooling

I figured I would start a thread for those going to the Snipers Hide Cup so people can find/coordinate roommates and rides.

I will be coming up from Dallas and have room for two others. Also willing to split a room with two beds with someone.

Will be getting some kind of rental vehicle and a hotel room.
I'll probably split both if it works out for someone else.
I'll arrive on Sunday and leave the following Sunday.

I'm looking for a rider to the cup. I will not be doing the train up. I will be coming through northern missouri and central nebraska. I'm not opposed to going a little out of the way to pick up a guy. I have room for one or two guys to split the fuel cost.

So, for those of us doing the trainup, who is looking for roomies? I am waffling on how long I can hold up car camping or tent camping as opposed to staying in one of the hotels.. the two I looked at were like 120 bucks a night!

Looking for options....

So far the cheapest motel (40 bucks) LaBonte or some such thing is booked. There are 3 others... I have looked into but they are expensive : 120 a night.

Douglas is only a few miles from the match site with Casper being closer to 50 miles from the site.

A friend of mine has a room booked a room at the super 8 in douglas which happens to be the lowest rated hotel in town, all reviews are bad....

Any other suggestions?

Perhaps we could get an idea of those going to the trainup + the match that might want to split hotel costs and / car-pool.

I am not going to the train-up but will be going to the match. I may be interested in flying in and carpooling back to SLC, UT. I would also be interested in splitting a room.

I will be arriving at the Casper airport on Sun. June 17th (before the train up) @5:00pm.
I am staying in Douglas and returning to the same airport in Casper on Sun.June 24th for a noon flight.
I am renting a crappy little Chevy Aveo (or similar), the cheapest thing I could find.
If some one who is registered for both the train up and the comp. is coming and going at about the same time and wants to split the cost of the car rental (approx. $210.00 for the week) contact me via PM to discuss.

I am sure everyone who is heading down to the cup has already got a room, but I will have a 29' camper down there with cooking and showering if anyone needs a place to crash.

I am leaving from the SLC area on Wednesday, early, and have room for one person w/ gear. I will however not be coming back to SLC after the match so a ride back for you will be required if this is where you want to end up.

PM me if you feel this will work and we can split the fuel.
