I bought a RRA varmit with an 18" barrel a couple of years ago for coyote hunting and the intentions of learning how to shoot at longer ranges than I can with a standard deer rifle. It currently has a cheaper bushnell scope on it that works great for hunting, but now its time to put some better optics (meaning something that has great repeatability) on it and start to push the range I currently know how to shoot. In order to figure out exactly which scope I want I first need to know what kind of range I should expect out of this gun with factory loads before its accuracy begins to fade (I do not have a reloader). In all of my searches all I can find is groups at 200 or even 300 yards. I know mine will shoot moa with 55 Vmax at 200 and me behind it. So can I reasonably expect this gun to run moa out to 500 to 600 yards? Further? Curious to see what others are pushing it to and what kind of factory loads they are using.
