I bought this rifle used right before the panic buying started. I got a good deal I think on it and now I am thinking about selling it. With all the panic buying I can't tell what these things should be bringing. What would be a good price for the rifle? It has a 20 inch barrel, A2 Stock, and black bolt carrier group. The best group I have shot with it is just over 1/2 inch at 100 yards.

Re: RRA Predator Pursuit

Well "fair" depends on if you are buying or selling. Since you are selling it appears that in general most AR's are selling for about twice their original value, of course some are going for much more.

Re: RRA Predator Pursuit

Could someone just tell me if right now is a bad time to sell? Am I making a mistake? I bought the rifle used but I know the guy it came from and he bought it new. It is a nice rifle but I was going to start a 243 project this year and I don't need but one project going at once. 1200.00 seems reasonable but I keep thinking I am making a mistake. I need some help please.

Re: RRA Predator Pursuit

I have the same rifle. I swapped the lower on it for the elite operator lower and it is by far the best AR I've ever owned. If you want an AR to do any hunting with that is the one, mine shoots excellent with 55 all the way to 77gr bullets. I think I give in the neighborhood of $1100 for mine new so I would say in the current market $1200 would be very fair of you. If you decide to sell it for that amount shoot me a PM

Re: RRA Predator Pursuit

I would keep it if I were you unless you absolutely need the funds. They are great rifles and really accurate for the $$.

I bought one a few years ago for $1100ish. $1200 is a very fair price considering some of the stupidity currently going on.

Re: RRA Predator Pursuit

I have thought about this quite a bit. I have decided to keep the rifle. It is accurate and I know where it came from. I wish it would have been the A4 varmint that I wanted but it has the same accuracy. This thing is going to look sharp a few months from now. I guess I will have to send it somewhere to get the tube handguard off and trigger installed if I can't find someone local.
