This is why I fucking HATE sites that want you to log in or go through 47 pages of filling shit out to show you the shipping. Not sure if RRS does this, but this is exactly why.

I'd call/email them. I've run into insane shipping before and it was a system error/glitch and the company fixed it. Then again I've had some tell me 'thats what the shipping is' and wondered why I laughed at them and hung up.

    So who knows.

    i just checked it

it does let you estimate shipping before doing anything once you add something to the cart

shipping was $9.xx and tax was $0, because im in TX...if youre in CA, where RRS is located, you get taxed, tough luck

make sure when doing the shipping you have the cheapest option selected because it defaulted to UPS 2 day for me which was $20.00 but i also had other options from $15, $10, and then $9 was USPS ground

    Well, and another thing.......

I have seen this on a number of other websites too. Why the hell do you provide a box for a "Promo Code" when AFAIK, you don't discount anything, ever ? I find it really insulting when I'm paying such exorbitant prices and again, AFAIK, there are no discounts available. RRS stuff is really nice, but Jesus, get a grip on your prices. At the very least, get rid of the promo code box on your website.

Thanks, this is the answer. I needed to put my address/info in again to see more shipping options. Man too bad for you californians what 11.7% tax??

GOOD NEWS, B&H Camera sells them for $338.00 no shipping or tax.

Can't go wrong with B & H. I just ordered a bunch of non shooting shit there today and I'll have it by Monday. Their online sales are super efficient and seamless. Their brick and mortar store is to me the 8th wonder of the world. The only thing that sucks is that they're located in Manhattan and I try to avoid NYC like the plague.

Yeah, I've been a B&H customer for over twenty years and they are great! I got to thinking RRS makes camera accessories and sure enough B&H carries their products including the shooting items which kind of surprised me.

B & H stocks quite a bit of shooting supplies. Including some high end scopes like Schmidt and Bender.

B&H has some awesome CS too -- once had a package say it was delivered via USPS (tracking said so) I let them know it didnt land, no questions they sent it to me again (for $50 item). And no that original item never showed up.
