Ruger 10/22 stainless target barrel walnut thumb hole stock, need some help identifying the year

Hi y'all
My brother found a matching pair of the above rifles from a friend who inherited them.
My brother inspected them, they are pristine look never fired the stock is the "old traditional style montecarlo thumb hole"
I dont have a s/n yet
tried to find this model in the used gun values book, No picture and the only thing was a footnote saying an upgrade to the value with the walnut thumbhole is $100+ in my 2017 book
does anyone know what years these rifles were made

You can look up the serial numbers on Ruger's website to find year produced.
