Sidearms & Scatterguns Ruger 22/45 threaded or Browning Buckmark Whisper?

Re: Ruger 22/45 threaded or Browning Buckmark Whisper?

I have a Tactical Solutions Buckmark, friend has a 22/45 Lite. I can say that the 22/45 Lite for less than half of the money I have in my Buckmark is a better value. However, the Buckmark has a better trigger out of the box and at least in this small sample size the Buckmark is more reliable.

ive used both the buckmark and ruger. i dont think theres much difference. i like the feel of the ruger so thats what i went with. cant go wrong here, youre deciding between nice and nice.

Having owned both, I like the Rugers better due mostly to the aftermarket. Lot of folks believe the Ruger is slightly quietier due to the ejection port opening. With all that said they are both great suppressor platforms.

I would stay away from TacSol as you will have a steel bolt battering a aluminum breachface. Rugers 22/45 Lite is a better design. The Ruger design has a steel breachface.

Having owned both sorta- I have an MKII that I bought knowing it had issues and still can't get it to run right after much tinkering. Buckmark has run perfect from day one and a flip of the sear spring makes the trigger amazing.

Get the 22/45. It makes Baby You-know-who in SFO weep.
