Ruger 556...???

I did a search to try and find some information about the Ruger 556 before making this thread but I came up with nothing. I assume there are some of you out there that have this weapon already. I'm trying to figure out whether to go ahead and pick one up or spend more money for a SIG or POF. Whats your thoughts on the weapon?

Some people love them, some people hate them. I had my wife find one before I went home for R&R.
