Ruger Precision Rifle 6mm Br Norma Lapua brass

I don't see why it wouldn't feed OK into an RPR.

You can probably use an AICS mag with a Primal rights adapter kit. My one rifle used PMAGs quite well until I had a mag implode on me. I will be testing it more in the future.

You would need some kind of spacer to feed by magazine reliably as they are much shorter than the standard calibers offered by Ruger. Here is Gary Eliseo shooting 6br from his mag fed tube gun, look at the strip they are loaded into.....6br Video

Op here talked to a gunsmith about this a while ago. Smith said you could make it feed but ejection will probably be a issue.

Ejection problem is what I meant sorry. The short case will not play nice with the spring loaded ejector. Will try to throw the case out too soon is what I gathered from the conversation.

It looks like the fabled clipazine that politicians constantly are referencing may in fact actually exist.

I can't imagine ejection would be too big of an issue, but am I willing to be the ginnie pig? Hmmm...

I seem to remember something about the guys a mile high putting together a 6BR ruger but maybe I'll just give them a call and confirm.

Yeah, looking around it seems like quite a few pre-fit manufacturers are making them. Anything more I need to know about getting into the 6BR? Everything seems pretty straight forward but I can't help but feel like there is some dirty secret behind this niche round. Almost seems too easy.

Thanks for the responses.

There was an RPR in 6 Dasher that sold in Calguns a few years ago, so I'm sure it's been done. I think the thread is still up, but I don't remember it mentioning any ejector modifications being done.

I have an RPR in 6 Dasher. Feeds and ejects fine using AICS single stack mag with a Primal Rights adapter kit. PVA also makes an adapter kit that works well.

Tha Dasher does have a slightly longer body then the standard BR, but I think it would still work.

I'll bet that gun is a lot of fun to shoot.

I would try a standard unmodified magpul mag first if you can.

I have 2 6Brs, one on an Defiance Elite action that feeds great from an AI AW mag with the HRD kits and then another on a Defiance Tactical action that I had AICS mags and the Primal rights kit. The HRD kits are top quality gear and worked right off the bat, the PR kits work OK so far but are just a 3D printed part.

Anyways, was out shooting with a buddy, I asked if I could try his PMAG, darn does it feed nice. Those plastic feed lips just feel great when running the bolt.
