I purchased a ruger silent-sr rimfire suppressor last year(I thought it would be cool to have a matching suppressor to go along with my RPRR) I just don't see much about people using them.

I just got mine out of jail 4-5. Anyone have any feedback good or bad?(a little late to be asking now huh)

I have one. It is a solid unit with good suppression, and very durable. My only complaint is diameter is slightly larger than 1" so it does not fit most holsters. Wish it was .920.

I've had one for a little over a year, seems to be a quality suppressor. Sound suppression is very good. We've compared it to several other models of suppressors and it seems to be right in line with other well regarded units. FRP is negligible which is a big plus for me; whereas on some other units like the sparrow is more noticeable. Compared it side by side on an FN 5.7 x28 to the new silencerco switchback and the difference was almost imperceptible. The switchback may have had a slight edge, but its a larger suppressor so no surprise there.

One plus with a Ruger is you would assume (there's that word) that they will be around for a while so any issues you may have should be covered. Seems the industry has a lot of little players around that are making some cool/innovative products but with the price you pay (and associated wait times) I prefer to have things from companies that should be around in the far future. Hard to say for sure but Ruger seems about as solid as you get. :)

I'm interested in their integral setup, that would be cool. I don't remember off the top of my head if it's available in the takedown version or not. That might be fun with a MagPul takedown stock.
