RUM case in AI long mag?

CIP magazine and you will have to cut the sides on the mag so they don't hang up when putting rounds in the mag. With the CIP, you can seat them out farther then the regular 338 AI mag. Sorry about that, I thought you were inquiring about buying a new AI stock. Did not know you already had the 300 or 338 long action stock in hand. If you are getting new, you can get the CIP length long action.

The edge will to fit in the 300 win AI mags, you'll need the CIP 338 lapua mag and mill the two front ribs off as the shoulder on the 338 edge case is further forward than the lapua is.
Hope this helps.

Ok, I understand their are two different mags we're talking about here; the 300 WM and 338 mags. Since I'm getting the long action 2.0 AICS long action chassis can you tell from the pic which one I have? Are they different length mags?

Yes , the CIP is longer. Look on the bottom or back of the mag and it will tell you. If it is CIP, it will be on there. If it doesn't say CIP, it's not. Regardless of that, the front ribs have to be milled off of both sides. I will see if I can get a pic of mine today when I get up.
If that picture is the one from Mile High, it is not a CIP mag length. It is a damn good buy though. You don't see them come up in the ee for that price, ever.
