Hi guys,
I see that most guys who buy the Tikka CTR typically ditch the stock for a chassis (I’ve seen a ton of KRG Bravo’s+CTR’s for example). The thing is, I would like to compete a bit and gain some experience before I spend the money on a chassis. This way I can make a purchase based on experience and understanding of my preferences versus purchasing a budget chassis and upgrading later. Is this a reasonable way to go about it? Or am I overestimating the viability of the factory tikka stock in a competition? Realistically, I would probably shoot it stock for a year or so before upgrading to an MDT ACC or Whiskey 3. If shooting it factory is going to be a major hindrance then I would purchase a Bravo now.
Interested to hear your thoughts.
