Rifle Scopes S&B 4-16x50 Varmint w/ Varmint Reticle

Anybody have one of these on a 5.56 that can get me pointed to the right ammo to match up with the reticle?

What did SuB say when you asked them?

I'd have thought it's going to depend a lot on what bullet type/weight, MV you get, the barrel length you're using and your chosen zero?

They didnt have anything to offer other than dimensions on the reticle.

I can figure it out, just checkin if somebody had something they had matched to it.

I am putting it on a noveske 18" spr with the aac spr m4.

Have you contacted SuB in Germany or the US?

They must have designed it with some calibres/bullet types in mind.

Euro optics says it should match 22-250 or 223

I noticed varmint type reticles seem to be "generalised". That is the nature of the beast I guess?

Can Alex give you the bullet weight they are based on?

Maybe see if you can spec blank turret so that you can personalise them to your favourite load?

I have two of them and love them. I shoot what I want and just fgure out where I am on with each dot. Shoot on 22-250 and .204 as well. Nice scope
