True. I've might have some old pics of a 700 in an AICS with a 5-25 S&B if that helps you. Not an AE, but similar profile

Here you go.... Not my pic, nor my rifle. But, it <span style="font-style: italic">IS</span> my scope. I bought this S&B from the very cool gentleman who took this photo. Hope this pic does the trick.

Picture is not the greatest. Scope is in a NEAR Alphmount . It looks like scope is touching barrel but its not. Its the crappy picture
