OK, so on top of the fact that the 12-50x56 model comes with no owners manual with specs in it........
The American web site has no info or specs about the scope on it.......
Now comes the question of exactly how much travel does this scope have in it.
Well heres what my scope came in at.
Elevation:
964 clicks @1/8 value = 120.5 MOA of elevation travel
Windage:
888 total clicks @ 1/8 value = 111 MOA of windage travel.
WTF??????? Am I crazy or is this double what I have read is the rated travel of this scope?
Now I MECHANICALY centered my scope at 482 and 444 clicks respectively. This now leaves me with 60.25 MOA of elevation travel in each direction and 55.5 MOA of windage travel in each direction.
Why would they underate the travel of the scope so much? Or os this a fluke or am I just missing something.
I love the scope, am bothered by the turrets and hate the "support" so far.
No info in the manual, no American website. I hope a call in to S&B yields concrete answers.
