Rifle Scopes S&B Warranty Question

I did a search and came up with a post from 2012 regarding S&B PMII Warranty. I'm looking at a 5x25 a friend has and I'm curious about the warranty. Another person I know informed me that some time back, Schmidt revamped their warranty to cover workmanship issues for a length of 20 years. Can anyone, who has any real world knowledge enlighten me as to what exactly their warranty is. I know on their website, it still shows information pertaining to 2 years and parts being in stock for 30 years. Any information anyone can provide is appreciated. Thanks

Thanks for the info. I’m not needing any warranty work done. Looking at a PMII locally and was curious about the warranty. I’ll give him a call as it’s confusing to me on how it’s structured seeing varying information.
