Hey everyone. I recently contacted S & S Precision to have them build a 338 Lapua Magnum for me. Anyone out there have any experiences with these guys. Your input is greatly appreciated!

Don Starks nick named "Stick" use to work for Speedy Gonzales who owned SG&Y rifles, they use to build some top shelf rifles,before they went out of business and Speedy went to teach at Colorado's gunsmithing school, pretty sure Don's crew knows what their doing!

I met Stick and he seems to know what he's doing. Watched him redrill and tap a reciever like it was nothing. Would of takem me several hours to get it right. I understand he used to build racing engines.

Not really, the rifle is initially for an Elk hunt next year in Colorado.

Stick form S&S built my rifle. Turn around time was less then 30 days but I provided him all the components so that saved some time.
If I still lived in Texas I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

I have seen the videos and also agree that they build very fine rifles. I would send them work any time.
