So watching her play some 3rd wold combloc chick (who’s ok looking; like a Texas 8, CA 5)

First off, Williams is one ugly bitch, like not eye candy remotely which takes much of the point out of watching woman’s sports, especially compared to the little blonde she’s playing

Two, she’s just now tied, this blonde chick is from a shitty combloc country, Williams is super rich fully, sponsored in the richest country on earth

I just don’t get the hype with Williams

Didn't she piss off the feminist and/or tranny community by saying that men are better tennis players than women or something like that? If I remember that right, then she's cool in my eyes for that alone.

In Tennis just like many other sports, no matter how good you are, eventually time and age catches up with you and you have to hang it up because the next batch are younger and faster than you.

Williams has been playing a long time and is probably thinking about retirement before too long.

Also, the Williams sisters are very strong powerful players, but that doesn't guarantee a win against an opponent who is fast, agile, has very fast reflexes and has a lot of skill and training.

The tennis world often has rather surprising upsets, it's the nature of the game.

You want an interesting conversation? Ask the sports orgs how they judge testosterone levels in females. Black women have testosterone levels similar to men.

Like her or not she has won 23 gran slam titles, hard to argue with that. The player she just beat was ranked #2 in the world and from Estonia. Last I heard they were a NATO country. 3rd world combloc is a bit of a stretch but haters are going to hate.

Estonia, yeah, a real global powerhouse

Point being is she makes more in a month than that shift from where the fuck ever makes in a year, plus full sponsored, and the best trainer money can buy

Dude, she’s ancient for a tennis player. She turned pro the same year Kontaveit was born, and won her first US open when Kontaveit was 4 years old. Williams is ranked 600 in the world, and Kontaveit is #2. Your response should be something like “Holy fucking shit how did Serena beat that girl?”

Still don't know what point your trying to make other than being a hater. All of those players at that level are fully sponsored and have good trainers/coaches.

Wasn’t s Williams doing the tennis thing way back before Y2K?

Serena is an absolute freak of athleticism. Growing up, I would see her and her sister around town or at the movie theaters before they became super famous. They used to do a bunch of training locally and are very well respected here. Good people.

If you ever stood next to Serena, you would know why she dominated the sport for so long. She would make most of the guys here jealous of her strength.

@TurboTrout do you post on the Hide just to prove what a complete dipshit you are? Why opine about something you clearly know absolutely nothing about? Your posts are no different than saying Michael Jordan shouldn't be highly regarded as a basketball player, or Wayne Gretzky ain't shit as a hockey player.
Good grief!

  • Only player, male or female, to complete the Career Golden Slam after turning 30 years of age (WIM 2012, OLY 2012, USO 2012, FO 2013, AO 2015).
  • Third female player to win 70+ matches at 3 of the 4 grand slam events. She had AO 70 match wins, WIM 79 match wins, USO 84 match wins. • Serena and Venus Williams improved their grand slam doubles finals record to 14–0. Only Martina Navratilova/Pam Shriver own more grand slam doubles titles as a team with 20 championships.
  • In 2017, by virtue of her 7th Australian Open singles title, she won her 23rd grand slam singles title and surpassed Steffi Graf's Open Era record of 22. Williams now trails only Margaret Court's all-time record of 24 grand slam singles titles. (During Court's Australian Open wins from 1960 to 1964, there were less than 50 athletes per Australian Open. Current grand slams have 128 athletes in every main draw. This is why there is often a reference to the Open Era which started in 1968. 13 of Court's 24 grand slam singles titles came before the Open Era.)
  • In 2017, as of the Australian Open, Williams holds a 316–43 singles record in grand slams, winning 114 of those since turning 30 years old. Her 316 grand slam singles match wins is equal to Roger Federer and the most in tennis history, for men and women.
  • Her 2017 Australian Open crown was her 10th grand slam singles title since reaching her 30th birthday. No other female player has won more than 3 grand slam singles titles after turning 30 years of age. (Note: Steffi Graf was 29 years, 11 months and 22 days when she won Roland Garros on 5 June 1999, shortly before retiring.)
  • As of the 2017 Australian Open, Williams has won 10 of the 12 grand slam titles to complete the Box Set (winning the singles, same gender doubles, and mixed doubles in each of the four grand slam tournaments). The only 2 she's lacking are the mixed doubles titles at Roland Garros and the Australian Open. Her best finishes in those events were runner-up finishes at the 1998 Roland Garros and 1999 Australian Open.
  • As of the 2017 Australian Open, she is the only player, male or female, to win 10+ grand slam singles titles in two separate decades (10 in the 2000s and 12 in the 2010s).

As long as we are talking about the natural chick's and not the steroid abusers. At that point you might as well just date a dude. The woman's clit is enlarged enough to enter the gay category.

I’ve been around some female pro bodybuilders and there are a few that I would still bang the ass off of. But I agree with the sentiment. Some of the abuse can get really freaky

Yep!
I like tall, athletic women. (Cory Everson is another I like, from ancient times)
The old Bernie Mac show had a celebrity guest on the show, every so often, usually an athlete.
The guest would sit in a chair next to Bernie.
I remember the show when Serena was the guest, and the camera pulled back to show them side-by-side, Bernie looked like a midget, next to Serena!

The voice is just weird as fuck. It's like a cross between a dude and females typical pitch and sounds so weird. I lifted in a gym that had a couple and it was just weird but damn I can only imagine how tight that V was.
