Sidearms & Scatterguns SA XDS and Talon grips

finally after a few months of searching came across a XDS for what i thought was a decent deal. everything from factory plus 200 rounds, extended mag and a cheap uncle mikes

holster for $600.

Ive put a few rounds through it over the weekend and i love the gun but not sure if i like the factory grip. almost seemed to tear into my hand ever shot. not sure if it is bad grip

technique ( fairly new to pistols) of just the gun grip in general.


Im thinking about giving Talon grips a shot. Anyone used them before?
wondering how well they would adhere to the XDS grip.
how much of a difference is there from the granulate and the rubberized?
How do the rubber grips work with wet/sweaty?
Will they get sticky if the gun is left in a hot vehicle or exposed to direct sunlight for long periods of time?
If you remove the grips for whatever reason is there any residue left over or how was the gun after removal?

Damn, you have a lot of questions about something you can buy for $14.

Yes Talon grips work on an XDS. I prefer the rubber to the sandpaper, sand paper wears out clothing fast. Buy some, try them. If you don't like them you wasted 14 bucks. I think you will like them, I do.

I bought Talon for my xds, it's OK. Then I bought a Hogue grip for my XD tactical, Hogue seems much better. Same money better feel and fit with Hogue (and real rubber grip).
