Shooters I just finished up another rifle and I wanted to post a few pictures. This one is going to my website designer and we hooked it up.
Two notable services are the Generation 2 side bolt release and the SAC's Lower Bolt Clearance "LBC".
Generation 1 side bolt release. This is our blind side bolt release. Most actions including custom actions have a roll pin though the top and bottom of the stock line. We worked closely with Kampfeld custom and their hardware to offer a super clean and effective bolt release.
Our Generation 2 release works just as good but with a slightly different look. The Gen 2 is more aggressive and sticks out a little more for customers who are looking for a "louder" release.
Short Action Customs' Lower Bolt Clearance is a patent pending modification that allows for the smoothest bolt manipulation on factory and custom actions while maintaining the utmost accuracy potential of the action. This new technology works well on factory actions and bolts, but really shines with custom actions and R700's with oversized bolts. When performing this modification to actions just mentioned, the bolt is held extremely straight and true before, during and after firing while allowing as much or more clearance as loose factory actions with out the use of bushings or bumps. This new technology has been tested with great results and is a solid upgrade for any action.
