Shooters, I just finished up another build yesterday. This rifle turned out great and I'm really digging these 20"-22" barrels for their increased handling and reduced weight. Here are the specs on this build.

-Winchester M70 Post 64 action, Fully trued.
-Trued bolt, Tactical bolt knob conversion.
-Trigger tuned to 2.5 LBS
-Bartlein M24/M40 30 cal, 1-11.25" finished at 22"
-Chambered with SAC Match 308 reamer
-Threaded muzzle, custom thread protector.
-Manners MCS-T3, fully bedded, custom desert camo.
-PTG hinged floor plate bottom metal.
-All metal painted with Cerakote Patriot Brown with black accents.

I'm sure this one will be an excellent shooter! The new owner appears to kind of know what he is talking about when it comes to shooting...we will see!!

Mark

YEAH BABY!My model 70 22-250 is needing a barrel and I am liking the looks of this. You know it is always refreshing to see something other than a Remington every once and a while.I am always impressed with your work.

I can't wait to get this in my hands. It's my first custom precision rifle. I've been shooting irons for the past 10+ years with service rifles and single shot long range rifles so I've got a lot to learn with a scoped rifle.

Thanks to Mark (and others) for my never ending questions. I learned a LOT during the build process and Mark was always professional and communicative.

I was just thinking that is a really nice looking rifle! I shoot with the owner and he does know what he's talking about with regards to shooting, he's earned High Master classification at NRA Highpower Service Rifle and NRA Long Range.
