I posted several times about the inaccuracy of a m 75 sako in 270 wsm. I am going to send the rifle to Sako (Beretta) & see what happens, I have a feeling they will shoot it @ 50 yards & say it is OK. If they do, I will probably re-barrel the rifle.
What is a good barrel to put on a hunting rifle, my 7mm rem mag will shoot 2" + @ 300 yards, my 308 sako will shoot everything you put in it under 1" @ 100 yards. I want accuracy but don't need a target rifle, keep it fairly light for a hunting rifle, will have 24" barrel.
My rem has Hart barrel, Sako factory barrel. What would be your suggestions, has anyone ever worked with a "gain trist" rifling? It is a progressive rifling, heard about it but don't know about it. How much should I expect to spend?
Thanks
