Sako L691 Action

Greetings,

Long story short, I have a Sako L691 Mag action (been in the box since the 90's). It was my father's and I would like to build a 300 win mag off of it.

Does anybody have any experience with this action? Especially trying to find stocks/barrels/detachable mag assembly that fits this action. Currently looking at a McMillan A-3 sporter and a Bartlein #4 barrel.

We've worked on them before. No big deal to do. Stocks? Manners or McMillan would be the first choices. Don't know of any detachable mag conversions for it though.

I have a 691 in 06 and just put a cdi howa 1500 la bottom metal on it and it works great.
