I have read several places that the SAKO TRG42 5 round mags can be used in the M995 but need to know if the TRG42 .338 LAPUA mag will work in the M995 .30-.378 WBY since there are no TRG42 mags specifically for that caliber. The # of the mag I am looking at is S5740385. Thanks!

The mags are very similar, however the 995 mag latches at the front, there is a slot cut out for the mag catch, while the TRG mag latches in the rear.
The TRG scope mount will not fit on the 995 as far as I know. The 995 has a tapered dovetail like the regular Sako 78/85 actions while the TRG has a straight dovetail. Near MFG and maybe others make a M995 scope base.
