You’re going to enjoy that rifle. I bought mine when they first came out in 260 awhile back. It’s an amazing rifle.NIB Sako TRG 22 in 260 Remington inbound.

I would suggest going with a NEAR Mfg 20-moa base. They are the cats meow. You can't find a better product.

Looks like a 20 inch barrel? What bipod mount? Looks like Atlas bipod. TNXI would suggest going with a NEAR Mfg 20-moa base. They are the cats meow. You can't find a better product.

I'm not so sure extra magazine is really necessary. I'd rather have the single round feed made by Terje.Well, I’d like to find the bipod, another magazine or two and the brake. I hope I made the right decision as I’m at custom level now ?
This is what I have been told.Ever wonder why so many actions are mimic-ing the bolt lugs, the extractor, the flat bottom, the.... well, you will know after your first range trip. The trigger is phenomenal- you will be forever "ruined". And I'll wager your Sako barrel will outlive any US barrel in accurate round count if they haven't changed their barrel supplier in recent history- so you are in fact ahead of any custom when you look at all the features/$!
I understand they are not the same. I guess I'll find out. Thankfully I got to hold one in a LGS recently. What about the TRG-22 ($3,000) would warrant it over a Tikka T3 with the KRG Bravo, KRG, Midas trigger, and a pre-fit barrel (Total around $2,100), besides the shorter bolt throw?
Sorry for jumping in on your topic here, but I figure it might fit...I’ve always wanted a trg but haven’t pulled the trigger on one because of barrel changes...
I just don’t read about people doing it like some of the other actions...say customs, AI, etc.
I jumped on a bighorn tl3 for my first rifle build because of that reason, but still can’t help lusting for a trg.
Is it something trg owners are doing now themselves easily or do most have a smith do trg changes?

I'll add to this also as I failed to do so earlier - the factory TRG bipod itself and attachment method is possibly the best bipod on the face of the planet.

Great rifle. I sold my AI AT and AI AX with the intend to step it down a notch so I purchased the TRG-22 20 inch in 308. However, it proves she is far from a step down. Simply put: Trigger is awesome. Bipod is the best I ever used. It feels more natural to me then the stocks on the AI's and for some reason, even though lighter, it shoots softer. Perhaps the brake is that good? Or the stock absorbs some of the recoil, who knows. 2 negatives: The Picatinny rail is junk. Replaced it with a NEAR Manufacturing one. Easy fix. The magazines, after the AI mags, anything is just gonna suck. No other way to put it.
Final note. I bought it in 308, got a great deal and fully intended to rebarrel to 6.5. However, after shooting it I am not so sure anymore. The thing is so damn ridiculously accurate that I just dont want to F%ck with it. (with Federal 175GMM).
