If you want accuracy get a ruger min14. </div></div>

That's a LITTLE funny...

Now thats a good one!

The sako tgr series are all so accurate that it makes i too easy. IMO it is the MOST accurate out of the box factory rifle that money can buy period in .308.

Here is a video of a fellow hide member shooting one. BTW: I purchased this exact TRG rifle from him and it shot sub 1/2 minute at 100 easy.

Remember....have to have a counter sniper scope....

they had a HUGE amount of space at SHOT....

Re: Sako trg .308 accuracy

Thanks I just got a trg and a zeiss conquest but haven't got to shoot it yet because of the weather.. I sure hope it's more accurat than a mini 14 or I made a $4000 dollar mistake.. Just curious to see what everyone thought about them

Re: Sako trg .308 accuracy

you should be happy after a day at the range , just do a good barrel break-in then it will be easy to clean afterwards<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Originally Posted By: JakeHensley</div><div class="ubbcode-body">Thanks I just got a trg and a zeiss conquest but haven't got to shoot it yet because of the weather.. Skip that. Just shoot it.

Yep. No break-in on mine and it shoots way better than I can. And 3/4 MOA is being very conservative. The gun should shoot 1/2 MOA at 100 yds easily with good match ammo. Likely better if you can shoot that well.

Re: Sako trg .308 accuracy

With loads it likes, I've posted some .3-4" groups. Whats more important to me, is that its stock and trigger make shooting accurately <span style="font-style: italic">easy</span>. Here is a 10 shot group @ 100 yards.

I'll attest to that!

Also, if you have a chance to handle the folding stock model, do it. I was totally suprised by the feel of the rifle!

I know the TRG shoots, but thats a good load you have developed also. 10 rnds like that is impressive.

Re: Sako trg .308 accuracy

My buddie shoots a TRG with 168gr handloads and with 168gr match ammo. I have witnessed him put three shots in on top of each other @ 300yds. Not just once but on multiple occasions.

He bought his direct from Beretta after doing the armorers course a year ago. It came straight from the factory and he has not done any customization work.

He is a good shot. But the point is the rifle can do it in the right hands. For the price and the package offered it is very good.
