Does anyone out there know how to remove a trigger assembly from a TRG-42?

Also is there any posts or videos anywhere that explain how to field strip on of these rifles?

Thanks

Yep, it worked!

I went through 45 pages of it but couldn’t find toque settings. I saw on another forum 133inch pounds but also heard on another forum the factory technicians only hand tighten.

Also I’ve heard on some forums 55 in-lbs seems to be the best for action screw torque settings.

I don’t know what to believe. Any suggestions? Also how do so torque hex screws that are so deep as the Sako has? my fat torque wrench has short hex bits. Tnx

Recommended torque for M6 screws is 8-10 Nm (70-90 in-lbs) which is not as hard as you think.

Hand tight is more than enough, especially if you've got a tool with some leverage.

While you're at it, answer this please:

I have had a small truck load of TRGs apart and back together, hand tight (if you have some experience with tightening fasteners) is perfectly fine. If not about 65lbin is good to go.

It is worth checking the action screws with some regularity. TRGs have a bit of a reputation for cracking the plastic behind the rear tang. Many have claimed that it is due loose action screws. IDK but it's an easy check.

Ok I answered it to the best of my beginner abilities

I just ordered a TRG folding stock from KRG for my old TRG-21... do you guys know if the KRG spigot mount or the BT21 Atlas TRG bracket will fit the front end of my OLD TRG-21 slot? Is the TRG-21 and 22 front end pretty much the same except for that rounded cut by the magazine well?

I completely disassembled it. I removed the action screws, cleaned them then put them back withblue locktight at 55 in-lbs. I put the rear stock bolts in closer to 100 in-lbs though. Hope that doesn’t affect the action. Tnx
