I am searching for the sako TRG 22 and 42 long MMRS rails to install on my rifles that do not have this from the factory. Does anyone know where to find these rails or who has them? I found the sako parts catalog and the parts are listed on page 10/11 as Part Number 13 (trg22) and 14 (trg42). Any Insight would be appreciated. My goal is to get one long uninterrupted top rail to facilitate clip ons. Catalog link below. Photo for reference of what my goal is. Thanks

Brownells used to get them in once in a blue moon and put them on the website. Havent seen them in stock for years. They were issued as part of a sws contract Sako had with India for TRG42s in 338 lapua mag. I believe Kuwait also received 42s in similar configurations.

Check with KRG to see if they make anything similar.

Beretta has the itrs in stock now but I’m really holding out for the MMRS. I missed out on a full MMRS rifle on GB not long ago and another here on the hide. Brownells supposedly has them on order but no eta

I wonder if they ship to the US. I'll have to contact them when I have some time.
They're pretty popular in Europe, so I imagine you'd find at least on retailer there who'd send it over.

Whatever else one might think about his approach, Richard Utting has a video or two on YouTube that shows them in action, so that might help you check it out a bit more first.

Dragging this thread back up, there are some SA MMRS kits in the BUSA inventory. In the midst of ordering one for an old company TRG-22.
Good to hear! I need to order one for my TRG-42.
Last I saw the TRG-22 MMRS kits had been discontinued a while ago. I haven't hear of availability of those as opposed to the TRG-42 kits.

All existing TRG 42 owners should pressure SAKO to upgrade their rifles to the A1 chassis and livery. Because this upgrade is possible.

On the SAKO customer service page, there is a statement saying "We know that many of our customers want to upgrade, but the upgrade is not possible at this time." We must apply pressure.

The reason for not being able to upgrade to a A1 chassis is availability, if I'm correctly informed. The numbers are simply that there is not enough demand for a chassis at about $3500-5000. (I've asked Sako as directly as possible).

A KRG W3 or a SICS would be a better option at the moment...

I'm ready to pay 5000$ for the A1 Chassis, I think it's not too expensive, it's worth it. But I know they don't offer it for sale separately.

I always thought this monopod was a neat concept, possibly picked up by another manufacturer for any rifle with a stock picatinny rail. But $450+ - I guess if you have to ask the price...

I checked BUSA doesn't have the MMRS, they have the two versions of the ITRS.
They aren’t available as standard purchase items on the website, but should still be some in inventory. I installed one on an old company 22 a few months back.

If you really do want the MMRS Kit feel free to shoot me a PM - I work out of the Beretta Gallery in NYC.

Maybe we should work on a list of sites that has aftermarket parts for the SAKO TRG's?
Euro Optic
Scopelist
Berretta USA

If someone has others that they have used?

I just ordered this puppy for my TRG-22. Hopefully it arrives soon, it should work better than the ITRS that I currently have on there. Hopefully it has instructions with torque specs.

ITRS with backbone.

Berretta USA shipped that out quickly. It fit in the TRG-22 nice and solid! It you are running thermals or night vision with a longer optic this is a solid solution and much better then the ITRS rail. I just need one for the TRG-42 now.

I got an ITRS and it is quiet long, cant see the benefit of your Model in that case. Tried to get yours first but they couldnt order it in germany, thats why i went with the ITRS. Can you reach the bipod in prone position or is that too much forward?

Seems more or less as long as mine on top? Do you have a picture of your TRG to compare?

It is almost impossible to find ITRS integrated with the backbone/chassis rail for the TR42.

- You can replace the Spine rail with size L and get a separate ITRS rail, as I did. You can fit even the tallest S&B 5-45x56 scopes in this setup.

- Or, Second option; You can upgrade to Vison's newly released Forend.

There is a factory-extended ITRS backbone/rail for TRG 42s - PN: S5741649ITRS. Looks like Brownells has them in stock at the moment!

In general, quite a few TRG accessories/replacement parts are not listed publicly but are available. If anyone has any questions about parts, let me know - always happy to help!
