Sako trg optilock ring figment question

I have a sako trg 42 on layaway that I need to purchase rings for. The scope is a vortex gen 2 4.5-27x56. I know sako offers a ring setup that will fit the 34mm tube and is high enough to fit the objective diameter. I’m concerned that the 3 ring setup will not allow the proper scope placement. Has anyone used this combination? I have a picatinny rail and arc m10 rings on my trg 22.

Before I changed to Cadex stock I had a spuhr mount that attaches directly to the scope mount milled on the action and I was very happy with it

I seen Sphur one piece ring set fit perfect on a TRG Sako action, I e-mailed one for sale and owner said yes , I have 3 TRG one piece 1', 30mm, 34mm one piece factory mounts theyre awesome but , Now days I would buy a sphur mount.

Yes it will fit I have the same scope using TRG one piece 34 mm rings. Great fit.

I’m going to answer my own post now that I have the sako rings in hand.
The bad. First thing I realized is that they don’t have one of the features I liked which is the plastic opti lock inserts. The 34mm version doesn’t use them.
The good. These rings are very adjustable for eye relief. It uses a recoil post that fits into one of four notches in the receiver. On top of that the rings have 2 additional spots for the rear ring and front 2. So if your in the market for trg rings don’t worry about being able to get the proper eye relief. There’s plenty of adjustment.
