Has anyone bought from here on this site before samplelist.com, I hate to buy used items and it seems thats what they sell. )Rangefinders and glass.) I think there in Texas. <span style="font-weight: bold">not responsible for miss-prints or errors.</span> it does say that in fine print. <span style="font-weight: bold">All Warranties are through the manufacturer only. </span>

Re: samplelist.com

SWFA/The Sample List are GTG!! I have done business with SWFA for several years and made a few purchases of samples, lightly used items, etc. from the Sample List and I have always been 100% pleased.

Uhhmmm, maybe that's why it's called samplelist.com. BTW, not all is used, some are new that the manufacturer (esp. Nikon) chooses to unload this way. Regardless, SWFA will stand by what they sell.

Re: samplelist.com

Nothing but good things to say about SWFA from here. I've ordered a few different things from them in both the regular site and from the SampleList. Everything was GTG. I'll be ordering from them again in the near future.

Re: samplelist.com

Don't mind those legal disclaimers at the bottom. If you ever have any problem with anything off the SampleList we will take care of you.

We inspect everything to the best of our ability and give accurate honest descriptions. If the product has any cosmetic blems we try to show it in the photographs.

Re: samplelist.com

The sample list is always the first place I look when I am in search for new optics. I have bought 4 scopes from there and recommended the sight to friends. Haven't heard of anyone having a problem with it.

I know your heart was in the right place, but I got to say that's the sort of statement that just gives me the willies.

Re: samplelist.com

I bought a zeiss conquest from them, sometimes the prices are better on the sample list for demo units than used units from private sellers. They ship fast and great to communicate with. The sample list and liberty optics are the first places I look when making an optics purchase.

I know...right. It's like; don't bother reading all that stuff....just sign here.

The current verbiage at the bottom of the page was copied from our old Gun List ads and to be honest, I forgot it was even there. We are in the process of redoing the entire site, so when I say don't worry about it, I really mean it.

Here is how it reads.

No C.O.D.'s. All Warranties are through the manufacturer only. No warranties are expressed or implied by S.W.F.A. Price does not include shipping and handling, Texas residence add 8.25% sales tax. Prices subject to change without notice, S.W.F.A. is not responsible for miss-prints or errors. Personal and or business checks are held 10 days., void where prohibited, must be at least 18 years old to play, tax title and license extra.

What can I say. I've just been a bit jumpy since the last time I skipped reading the fine print and now Jered owns one of my kidneys.

Re: samplelist.com

Perhaps someone could tell me why I would want to but a used scope from samplelist for twice the price of a new one from swfa. Samplelist appears to be quoting their sale price at more than $700, marked down from some substancially higher msg price. As far as I can tell, the mfg price is much less than they claim. Most used scopes that I have seen on the market ,sold by private parties, have sold for about $50 less than the mfg price. Am I missing something here? Granted, I was in a hurry when I visited the samplelist sight, but that is certainly what the prices stated on the page I saw.
