SAR 8

Guy's, my buddy just picked up a used Springfield SAR 8 and doesn't know too much about them and neither do I. So I am asking for your input and knowledge about it.

Any help or info you can provide would be great, and I will pass it along to him.

Built by Springfield armory to replicate the HK91. Parts are manufactured in Greece supposedly on HK tooling. I have owned 2 and never had any problems with them. They function well and all of the HK accessories fit correctly. These are a cheaper option to the HK91 and the quality is much better than some of the build rifles today.

Thanks, I saw the weapon this afternoon, looks ok, hard to charge the bolt back, and I bud hasn't had time to take it to the range, so I hope it shoot's ok.

I'm not familar with them so I could'nt give him any advise as to what to expect, as far as accuaracy and function.
