just got this bag and upon arrival I noticed that the construction of this was very good/the bag is heavy also. just thinking that these are all hand made one by one .I know there are a lot of you on the HIDE that have these bags and are very happy with them so I am glad to also now own one myself couldn't have made a better choice.great customer service also awesome people to deal with.

I was torn between the Saracen and the Game Changer. As luck would have it, we made a deal, and I ended up with the wonderful Tactical Udder... and I am so glad it worked out that way!! I use this bag for basically everything, and couldn’t be happier!!

Just picked up a comanche bag and shot a match with it today. It was great as both a front and rear bag. Also used it on top of a buddies tripod. Highly recommend it.

I own a Saracen myself and love it. I have used it in more positions I can count and it's always providing a stable shooting platform. I used it last fall to build a stable enough shooting position to make a cold bore 632 yard shot in the fog and rain on a deer out of a tree stand. Deer was dead on spot via a 147 ELD-M.

I've had a Commanche for a few weeks now, and it is really excellent. Very high quality, super stable, not too heavy, and is also the best rear bag I've ever used. I now want a Saracen, just because.

I've got the Saracen and it's awesome. Cleaned stage from top of tank trap last time out and found lots of uses: barricades, tripods, rooftops.

I only carry it and a small rear bag.

The Comanche is substantially smaller than the Saracen. And coincidentally I am working with HRD gear right now to make it rail mounted. He just shipped me the new parts today, so hopefully really soon we will be getting those out to you guys.

Here’s a picture, hopefully, of my partner and I at the Sniper’s hide team match. He is running the Saracen and a Canister and I have the Comanche up front. I’m the one in the desert digi boonie.

You were helping me on another thread about rear bags earlier this week, and I started researching other threads on the Hide to learn more about the Comanche bag. Do you happen to have any videos showing the different ways the Comanche can be utilized as a rear bag? Just curious!

Saracen and Comanche (smaller version) are from Warhorse Development who was originally partnered with Bison. They have since part ways and Bison now makes the tactical udder

I just got a saracen and a second commanche. That Saracen is truly awesome, and the commanche is my do everything bag, so I got a second one to leave with my work gear. I hate having to swap stuff around and possibly forget something when I need it.

I was shooting off of a barricade this morning, and the standing height step was a bit too tall for me (no surprise there, and I'm sure some of you know what I'm talking about.) I tried a friend's gamechanger, which I really like, but it was just too tall for that position for me. The Commanche got quite a bit lower, and allowed me to make hits, even having to be a bit on my toes. The kneeling step was also a bit too high for me, so I couldn't support my shooting arm. I wanted to train a bit without a pump pilllow, so again, the commanche allowed me to have a slightly lower position than the GC. Very adaptable bag.

The new fill is not as stable.” I know Diver160651 was talking about the fill in their game changer, but in your opinion is the fill in the Comanche pliable enough that it can easily be utilized as a squeeze bag?

Build quality is SUPERB. I can't wait to use these over the next few weeks. Very pliable and form a nice platform on my "barricade" as shown. Also provide a nice big stable platform when flattened out for rocks/logs etc. Will work as a reag bag too by grabbing where the legs connect to main portion, fill is plenty pliable for small adjustments while having a big surface area for the stock to ride on

Another thing to note. The way they're constructed they are very stable when placed on top of each other to get a little extra height/clearance for AI mags

So, I’ve changed from the original fill I had been using when I first started making these bags. The fill that I’m using now is super pliable and flows better than the original stuff. It is variable in its size and shape, it looks like the candy Nerds. It is lighter than the older fill, too. I have been experimenting with a blend of the “Nerds” and another fill to lighten them up even more but still retain the ability to flow and remain pliable. I’ve gotten the Comanche to weigh 3.3 lbs with this mix and stay as awesome as it was before at 3.8 lbs.

Clifton Reasor and I have talked at length about fills and their properties. The dude is pretty legit and a hell of nice guy. The fill he is using is proprietary so I can’t attest to what he is using.

He is working on a way to attach the Commanche with straps to your rifle. He has also come out with a Commanche that attaches via Arca mount to your rifle as well. Pretty awesome!

I have the Comanche. It is a very versatile bag. Works awesome on barricades. Using it for a rear bag with a bipod, you can lay it out flat, on its side with the legs wrapped around your hand, or double a leg or two back on itself to fit a lot of heights depending on height of prone position and shooting a little up or down angles.

if i had to carry only 1 it would be the comanche. but they both had stages where there was a clear winner between the two, though i'm sure the comanche would have been just fine in the instances when i used the saracen
