Suppressors SAS Arbiter Questions

I've pretty much narrowed my choice of suppressors for my KAC rifle down to the SAS Arbiter or a TBAC can. I've read many places that the TBAC is the best for accuracy, but for a variety of reasons I'm leaning towards the Arbiter provided that there's no big down side. So my question is, to those who have the Arbiter, what have you noticed in terms or accuracy (same, better, worse) and POI/POA shifts? I'm leaning towards either direct thread, or TOMB (with the flash hider, not the muzzle brake)...any comments on that?

Mine increased my accuracy by about .25 MOA, which I think is a lot. POI shift was minimal to start (MOA or under), but I think it's shrunk some with break in. Hard to tell since I've seldom shot without the can since I've gotten it. But I can tell you whatever it is, it is repeatable. I got the direct thread, so I'd only go with a QD if you are planning on using this on multiple barrels.

If you're going to go with TOMB, I would recommend a brake. One of the true benefits is that the brake acts as a replaceable blast baffle for the can. You'll end up with greater longevity vs a direct thread or FH attachment.

I ordered myself the Ti Arbiter from Randy at Mile High and went with the TOMB muzzle brake. I'm not completely sold on QD mounts but the TOMB is nice in that you retain the brake and get the thread-on interface. With current wait times, it'll probably be January by the time I get it.

Owners seem to love their Thunderbeast and SAS. There were a lot of positive reviews when the SAS came out, and the same applies for TB when it was released. I haven't really seen many direct comparisons between the two though.

One reason I didn't go TB is their muzzle brake is .338lm sized which allows you to use a .338lm can on a .308 equipped with a TB brake, but a .338lm sized brake on a .308 looks outlandish. I don't plan to share cans so that feature isn't beneficial to me. People already get annoyed when you use a brake. Folks will think you're downright malicious when you pull off your silencer and reveal a giant loudener hanging off your barrel.

I haven't seen a difference in accuracy with either my .308 or .260. POI shift is straight down on both rifles, 1 moa on the .308 and 3/4 moa on the .260. Can't ask for better IMO.

I use the TOMB so that I'll always have the muzzle break on when I pull the can off, and so I can setup a .223 for the same can without having to swap between a flash hider and an adapter. If I were only ever going to run it on the above rifles I'd go with a direct thread.

Wont really matter with a Ti or Inconel blast baffle.... the can will out last many barrels and most likely the owner.
