Savage 10 BA I hate the stock rail need options.

Im looking to do away with the huge bulky rail on my savage 10BA I was looking around and can't seem to find a good rail NF badger ect. I read that the mounting holes are #8-40 and also read 6-48 can someone who has replaced this rail point me in the right direction for a new rail.

I found this it says fits savage 10 thru 16 but no info on hole space or size is the 10 ba considered a savage 10 ?

Careful. I am almost certain that I read soemwhere, maybe in the American Rfielmean review?, that the screw size for the Savage 110 BA was increased to no. 8 by the design team.

You might want to check.

Best route would be to call Murphy Precision and have them make you a base that way you can pick the MOA that you want instead of having to live with a standard one that might or might not be enough.
