On my Savage 10 BAS/t I simply hated one thing about the weapon and that was the Cheek Weld. The thing was floppy and weak. I decided to take the issue to Magpul and got the PRS Stock. An amazing piece of equipment for the cash. Got the stock and the buffer tube and found out that i was about 2.5 to 3 inches back from the eye relief for the scope. The three options were, New scope with an odd eye relief, bring the scope to me with pricy mounting equipment and the last option was to go to the scope and that was option I have taken. I rigged a pice of Schedule 40 PVC in 1.5inch ID to the stock as shown in the picture. I cut the piece to be more than snug and the thing is solid. Nothing to complain about with the Savage now.
