For whatever it's worth, I did get the '09 BAS/k,(10 action...) then only in .308. Our range goes to 700, I used 168 gr FMK nd now 175 gr FMK reloads from a company out west. At the time, I literally had to find the most bang for the buck. Based on what my inexperienced eyes see, I'm glad I got it. Yes, you have to use some of the foam packing to put underneath the flimsy "cheek weld" so it doesn't smush down, but all in all, I couldn't afford others in the same ballpark of performance. (Remmy is what I wanted) Didn't have the money, and glad now maybe I didn't. It is a very good gun. And this stuff about it being a mid range gun is not true. At 700 it is very, very accurate, and I am a beginner. The newer models are probably better.
