Has anyone successfully removed the brake from the 110 Precision Elite? I couldn’t get mine to budge last night.

Its not branded and Savage doesn’t list a manufacturer in their spec sheet, nor is it in any manuals, so I can’t find any removal instructions.

Does anyone know if the installed with threadlocker?

Two things to try. Heat it in a pot of boiling water or hit it with a propane torch and get a a little hot.
Boiling water is if it is rocket, it helps soften it up. Propane torch is of course easier to try if you have one.

Thanks.

I was able to remove it earlier today. A little tape around shoulders and a sudden rap on the handle of a large adjustable wrench. The threads were clean and dry, no signs of threadlocker.
