I had similar results with my Savage 10 FCP-SR in 6.5 CM using an Atlas bipod and Vortex Crossfire II 6-24X50.

They are shooters right out of the box and it gets better with hand loading and a chassis etc. Too bad they are junk guns with extraction and feeding issues according to many. I love mine...

im very happy with my junk Savage LOL.I have an Axis in 6.5 that shoots just as well. Have a Ruger American 6.5 in a Magpul stock its been back to Ruger 3 times the gun is a wreck cant chamber a round to save your life.At 200 yards I’m getting the same type of raged hole grouping with the 110T.

Not to start crap but all the people that say they wont own a Savage seem to just be pissed off because they sink thousands into a Remington that only shoots the same as a factory Savage The proof is on the target and my cheep Axis will out shoot any factory Remington. And my 110 will keep up with most anything I’ve come up against.

Most of the "dirt" I hear about Savages are from folks who compete in PRS where time is of the essence. The Savage action is not "fast" enough when pushed hard and the other competitors are shooting tuned and tweaked top end Custom stuff. Also there seems to be some feeding and extraction issues when pushed hard/fast and Savages do not hold their resale value like a custom Remington action.

If one is not competing in PRS (against a clock) and shooting for accuracy and doesn't see themselves selling rifles and needing to recover as much investment as possible then Savage is pretty hard to beat. I get everything I want out of my Savage and will buy others as my Savage experience has been fabulous.

But I don't compete so my opinion is just unqualified.

Neither do I.
I can understand the gamers opinion of them though.

I tried to retire from the savage realm but it’s like herpes and it just bloomed back into my life again.

I even named it this time.
