Savage 93r17 stock questions

I have the 17 fvss, and i really do not like the factory synthetic stock, does anyone know if there are any good aftermarket synthetic stocks for sale? If not Im trying to decide between the

spend a little time reading through the forums and you'll see that the Boyds Tacticool is a common option. My wife ordered me one for christmas (I believe it was through midwayusa)that I am currently in the process of staining with home made stain (black rit dye and alcohol). My DIP bottom metal and trigger guard will be here this week (fingers crossed). If my DIY stain turns out like shit I'll just slap some krylon on it and rock and roll. I believe Manners now offers a stock (or will in the very near future) that I would love to have but my budget does not agree. Not trying to be a dick (and I admit that I did not even click on your links to confirm) but the stocks you listed are likely laminate wood stocks and not synthetic like you stated above. Someone around here has a clickable link in heir signature that allows you to search the hide through google. If you see it use it! You can learn a lot just by reading through the threads that have already been posted. Some of the guys around here are quite passionate about their rimfires and have shared volumes of useful information on just about every topic you can think of. The search function will help you out a lot.

Sorry for not being more clear, those two would be a back up in case there is no synthetic option. I have also seen the tacticool and i like the stuck but they seem to be backordered everywhere, and wasnt going to place an order for one unless there are no other options. Thanks for the advice though i really appreciate it.

i have the thumbhole stock that savage offers. its great. just a bit on the short side... but then again im 6'2" so maybe its just me.

There are a few guys around here dropping barreled actions into airsoft stocks...not something I would do (not knocking anyone for doing it though) but it does offer you more options.
