My VP of operations got bit by the shooting bug shortly after moving to western NC. Most of the time it has been with his Glock, but earlier this summer he started training with my MKII tr 22 lr. We got out to 210 yards on a regular basis with very good results. well to make a long story short next week will be his last in NC, he is taking a job in Philadelphia so his last request was an opportunity for some longer range shooting. Ya I know 600 is not long for some on this site, but for a person with very little experience with a rifle its a heck of a shot. Here is the video and results.

I asked myself the same thing! Looking to hear an answer on this one.

Re: Savage BA308 @ 600 yards

I am laughing as I type this, yes the ammo was "core-loct" now let me explain. I bought the rifle, then I got into reloading. The fist couple boxes of stuff I bought was the Remington, then I found the fed premium, now I hand load 168-175 depending. well I had these boxes of ammo laying around, and I needed the brass so what the hell, I'll let my VP shot em up before he's gone. I was almost as shocked as him when I had it on steel in three rounds. He proceeded to hit the plate another six out of ten shots.go figure!
