savage fcp-k rings and base

Re: savage fcp-k rings and base

The Millet has the 50MM objective, so you will have good clearance with the EGW 20MOA base and Burris Low Tactical rings.

There are several people that run the Burris rings. However, I personally don't care for them at all. Neither of my rings were centered with the bore of the rifle, and both of them were off from each other. I now run all Seekins rings, and I have never had a problem with them at all.

Yes, Seekins is a bit more money than the Burris rings, but there are just some things that I won't go cheap on anymore. Also, I hope you have better luck with the Millet than I did as well. I only run Vortex now, and I couldn't be happier.

Put some good gear with that Savage, and it will make you a very happy shooter!!

Re: savage fcp-k rings and base

I bought a set of weaver tactical rings for my budget built remmy in 223. They hold my millet Awesome. I think they are $36 from swfa. And swfa is great to deal with. Good luck and happy holidays.

Was looking at them too. Thinking about getting them over the burris as they are made in the USA
