I've searched the hide (using the advance feature as well) but didn't come up with much in what's available for Savage Mark II 22lr stocks.

Suggestions or links to threads that already address this?

Re: Savage Mark II Stock

Boyd's makes some. Basically same as TR stock.

Also Short Bus just did a group buy for Manners group buy for the savage Mark 2 a few months ago. I am not sure if they are adding them to the regular line up or not. You might give them a shout to find out if you want an excellent stock for your rig.

Re: Savage Mark II Stock

Chris wallis forge google his name he has a website makes fantastic stocks if he is still making them. I own one for my savage looks and fits just like my MCM A3 on the .308

Re: Savage Mark II Stock

Chris Wallis also made me a McM A4 stock to match my .308. Great trainer rig. Also, the stock helped out in the accuracy department, because it's way better than the factory one.

Re: Savage Mark II Stock

I believe Boyd's makes the stocks for the TRs. I got one for mine and at $100 you can't go wrong. You just need to get a new trigger guard from DIP or savage if you are going from the terrible synthetic stock.

Re: Savage Mark II Stock

I registered just to say I would love to get one of those stock kits from S1erra1. Any idea on the pricing and ETA on availability?

Re: Savage Mark II Stock

Hey guys, sorry it's taking a while but the butt I was going to try turned out to be no good so I'm liasing with another member to try and sort it out so once that's done I'll have a firm price.

But to give you a bit of an idea, I was hopeing to keep the price under the $400 mark but it's just not gonna happen as the cost is waaay over that.

At this stage I'd say they'll be around $600 wich will include everything except the skins, It'll even have a Parker hale copy bipod fitted into the front end.

Re: Savage Mark II Stock

S1erra1, any chance you'll revisit the "norinco block" project when your finished with the "AI block"?

I personally find that option more appealing and as it would be much more versatile to the end user.
