I just ordered a Savage 10FCP McMillan and I was wondering if McMillan would install the adjustable cheek piece they have on there website even though the stock was not purchased from them? From what I understand this stock is somewhat different from the production A5. This is the cheekpiece Ive been looking at: Adjustable Cheeckpiece

However the stock needs to be made for an adjustable cheek piece from the get go. Especially that type of cheek piece.

You could always build it up with a stock pack. I have two rifles with adjustable cheek pieces and they rarely ever get moved to a different height.

i have one on my mcmillan savage . works great.
i got the b model.. yes you have to unscrew it to clean the barrel.. but the knobs on the a model are huge
and once it is set i only move it to clean
